Como midfielder Lucas Da Cunha is again of interest to Chelsea following his selection for the France national team, although the club's interest existed before his international recognition. Chelsea, Manchester United, Aston Villa, Newcastle United, and Brighton had previously made contact regarding the player, while Atalanta, Napoli, and Roma were also monitoring him from Serie A. Da Cunha ultimately signed a new five-year contract at Como. Despite this new agreement, Premier League interest continues. Chelsea remains attentive to Da Cunha's progress, and it is understood that the club is seeking a midfielder in 2027. Liverpool, Nottingham Forest, and Bournemouth are also reportedly monitoring the situation closely. Da Cunha's new contract means Como is under no immediate pressure to sell, and his recent rise is likely to strengthen their position should any serious offers arrive.
