Servette is considering a move for FC Volendam's Dutch-German defender Precious Ugwu and is in contact with the 20-year-old regarding a potential collaboration starting either in the winter or the following summer. Heart of Midlothian, a top-flight club in Scotland, is also interested in the player. Ugwu is under contract with the Dutch second-division club until 2028 and is a regular starter. It is reported that he is thinking about his future because he would prefer to play in a central role rather than his current position on the right side of the defense. He joined FC Volendam in July 2025 and has 12 appearances and 2 goals for the Netherlands U19 team. His market value is listed by Transfermarkt as €500k.
