According to a report from Peter O’Rourke on Friday, a £1m bid from Lincoln City for Falkirk striker Barney Stewart was rejected. Lincoln City are interested in Stewart, but there are several barriers to any potential deal. Falkirk do not want to sell, and Stewart recently signed a new contract. Falkirk's valuation is more than £1m, a price which has deterred West Brom for the time being.
