According to TEAMtalk, multiple English clubs have entered talks with Rice’s representatives, and Forest has presented a plan intended to speed up his development at a senior level. Rice is scheduled to leave Rangers this summer when his contract expires. Sources indicate that Rice is frustrated by the lack of consistent opportunities at Rangers. A departure is certain and is expected to take him outside of Scotland.

Nottingham Forest are among several clubs interested in Rangers' 19-year-old midfielder Bailey Rice, whose contract expires this summer and who is considered likely to leave Ibrox.
