Belgian international Aster Vranckx is nearing a transfer from VfL Wolfsburg to Southampton. The transfer is expected to result in Wolfsburg receiving approximately €5 million for the midfielder, whose contract runs until 2029. Vranckx joined Wolfsburg from Mechelen in 2021 for €8 million and subsequently had loan spells with AC Milan and US Sassuolo.
