Reserve Leeds United attacker Lukas Nmecha, 27, is a player the promotion chasers should consider, as his current deal at Elland Road expires next summer. Nmecha could offer the Saints depth in the centre-forward department, and the Hamburg-born forward is also versatile enough to play out wide. The Saints are noted as a plausible next step for the German if his West Yorkshire contract is not extended, and it is possible that the South Coast outfit would be keen to sign the Hamburg-born striker next summer. Eckert and Co. could intervene in a potential transfer. The German international has 7 caps, joined Leeds in July 2025, and has a current market value of €10.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
