Premier League side Ipswich Town are now prepared to loan out reserve goalkeeper Alex Palmer, having previously sought a £6m fee for the 30-year-old. According to a report from journalist Alan Nixon via his Patreon page, Ipswich are willing to let Palmer leave on a temporary basis with just two days remaining in the summer transfer window. Millwall could attempt to sign Palmer on loan, as the club requires a goalkeeper due to Lukas Jensen's long-term injury and previously made a similar move for Anthony Patterson last season. West Brom and Blackburn Rovers are also mentioned as other clubs that could be interested due to the player's availability. The English goalkeeper joined Ipswich in February 2025 and has a contract until June 2028. He has four caps for England U16 and a current market value of €1.00m on Transfermarkt.
