Agustin Giay is reported by CalcioMercato to be among the players Milan is observing for the right-back position. The 22-year-old from Palmeiras has a cost of about 13 million euros.

According to Matteo Moretto, Milan is monitoring Agustín Giay and might attempt to sign him in the January transfer window. Milan had previously shown interest during the last summer. Palmeiras will only negotiate for offers between 20 and 25 million euros. Giay's contract expires in December 2030, and the club has set a release clause at 100 million dollars.

According to CalcioMercato, there is growing interest from top European clubs in Agustin Giay. Giay is an Argentine right-back, was born in 2004, and currently plays for Palmeiras. He has been noted as a target in Serie A. Milan is among the clubs interested in the player.

There had been speculations that Palmeiras rejected a 12 million euro offer from Milan for Agustín Giay. Nevertheless, it was reported that Palmeiras had not received any official proposal. Milan was said to be making constant inquiries about Giay as a potential player for the future, but Palmeiras was not willing to sell him at that time. Giay, a 21-year-old right-back, emerged as a strong target in the international market for the 2025/2026 season. Despite interest from Italian clubs such as Milan and Napoli, Palmeiras remained determined to keep Giay, particularly after Mayke's recent move to Santos, which left Giay as an essential part of their squad alongside Marcos Rocha and young prospect Gilberto. Giay's contract with Palmeiras extends until the end of 2029, underscoring the club's long-term commitment to him. Moreover, his value has risen following his performances in the FIFA Club World Cup.
