Frosinone and Bologna are both showing interest in Lithuanian central defender Motiejus Sapola, who is currently on loan at Spezia from his parent club, Pisa. The two Serie A clubs are considering the 2006-born player as a potential defensive reinforcement for the 2027/28 season. Spezia holds an option to purchase Sapola for 800,000 euros, though Pisa retains a counter-option. Spezia's current sporting director, Guido Angelozzi, previously worked at Frosinone for a long time. The 20-year-old has been capped 7 times for the Lithuania U21 national team and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €100.0K.
