Javi Rodriguez, a 23-year-old defender for Celta Vigo who was linked with AC Milan and Como during the summer, is also the subject of significant interest from the Premier League. Newcastle United, Everton, Bournemouth, and Fulham are all interested in him, and these clubs made enquiries during the final stages of the summer window. The interest from these four clubs has continued. Paris Saint-Germain have also monitored the Spaniard, and it is said that manager Luis Enrique appreciates his qualities. Rodriguez recently signed a new contract that runs until June 2030. According to sources, his release clause remains set at €40 million (£33.4m / $44.9m). Celta sources are aware of the interest in him, and to sign him in January, clubs will have to meet the clause or make an offer close to it. Rodriguez joined Celta in July 2024, has earned one cap for Spain, and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €18.00M.
