There is reportedly growing interest across Europe and England in Žan Vipotnik, a 24-year-old Slovenian centre-forward who plays for Swansea City. Benfica, Toulouse, and Brighton have been named as interested parties. Interest from local clubs has been confirmed, and it is said that both Benfica and Sporting have checked on the situation. Swansea City will only consider what is described as a 'crazy' offer and are not seeking to facilitate an easy exit for the player. The club has set an asking price of approximately €30m (£25.8m). As enquiries have begun to arrive, some clubs have already been informed of this valuation. English clubs are tracking Vipotnik, and these include teams whose status for next season's Premier League has not yet been determined. Vipotnik has 24 caps and 5 goals for Slovenia. He joined Swansea on a free transfer in August 2024 and is contracted with the club until 2030. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €15.00m.
