Tyler Adams Transfer from AFC Bournemouth to Manchester United
Manchester United could make a €45 million approach for Tyler Adams in January, and the club may finance the deal through another departure that same month.
Manchester United are reportedly preparing to make changes to their midfield, and Bournemouth duo Alex Scott and Tyler Adams are being considered by the club. According to The Sun and The Daily Mail, United manager Ruben Amorim wants to add greater intensity and tactical discipline to his midfield, and the same sources state that the pair are viewed as players who could provide this. United are also tracking USMNT captain Tyler Adams, who has Premier League experience and a reputation for a high work rate. Reports from earlier in the month indicated that a potential January transfer for the 26-year-old, valued at around £40 million, had been discussed within the club. It is believed that United are waiting for more information on the severity of an injury and his anticipated return date before deciding whether to proceed with a bid in the winter or delay their interest until the summer.
Bournemouth midfielder Tyler Adams was a notable performer during analytical studies by Manchester United’s footballing department. According to Graeme Bailey, Adams has also impressed the club's scouts, and the interest is reinforced by his past relationship with United's director of recruitment, Christopher Vivell. United sources state that Adams is considered an alternative option as the club assesses midfield targets for 2026, with the player under contract at Bournemouth until 2028.
