Troy Parrott Transfer from AZ to Leeds United
Leeds United is seriously interested in acquiring Troy Parrott. AZ Alkmaar has set a price of 30 million euros for the transfer. Parrott joined AZ from Tottenham Hotspur last summer for 4 million euros. This season, he scored 20 goals and provided 5 assists in 46 official matches. Leeds United finds the price too high, but the transfer process is clearly underway.
Troy Parrott, who is currently playing for AZ and previously played for Tottenham Hotspur, is reportedly linked with a potential move to Leeds United. The Irish forward has been noted for his impressive performance, having scored 20 goals in 45 official matches, and is a top target for Leeds as they look to bolster their squad for the upcoming season. Leeds United, following their promotion, has shown interest in signing Parrott, but AZ is demanding at least three times the amount they paid for him last summer. AZ had purchased Parrott from Tottenham Hotspur for eight million euros after his loan spell at Excelsior. As reported by The Irish Mirror, AZ is firm on not considering any offers below 25 million euros.
Leeds United have added Troy Parrott to their striker shortlist for the summer window. He has been discussed internally, although no formal enquiries have been made yet. Parrott has impressed at AZ Alkmaar, scoring 20 goals in 45 games across all competitions. AZ paid around €8m to sign Parrott, and he is contracted until 2029. An offer in the region of €20-25m would give AZ a decision to make.
