According to reports from the end of last year, Coventry City was one of several teams interested in signing Troy Parrott from Dutch football. The 24-year-old Irish centre-forward currently plays for AZ Alkmaar in the Eredivisie, having joined the club in July 2024. He previously played four times for the Tottenham Hotspur first team. This season, he has scored 29 goals in 44 matches, with ten of those goals being in the UEFA Conference League. Parrott's contract with the Dutch club runs until 2029. He has 35 caps and 11 goals for Ireland. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €22.00m.
