Kubo, along with Armand Laurienté from Sassuolo, is being regarded as a potential recruit to boost Napoli's attack for the forthcoming season. Kubo's contract with Real Sociedad is set to expire in June 2029, and his market value is estimated at €30 million by Transfermarkt.
