Sondre Ørjasæter Transfer from Sarpsborg 08 to Celtic
Sarpsborg sporting director Hampus Andersson has left the door open for Celtic to revive their interest in Sondre Orjasaeter this summer.
Sondre Orjasaeter has expressed readiness to move away from Norway amid interest from Celtic and PSV Eindhoven. Norwegian outlet 433 reports a £7.2 million asking price for the forward.
Celtic has shown ongoing interest in Sondre Ørjasæter, having made several attempts to sign him in the past January. Ørjasæter has been on the radar of several foreign clubs for a while. He expressed his interest in the style of football played in Spain and the Netherlands but mentioned he won't be upset if a transfer doesn't happen. Sarpsborg is looking for a transfer fee between eight to nine million euros. Ørjasæter has a contract until 2028.
Celtic made several attempts to sign Sondre Ørjasæter in the past January, but a transfer was not on the table at that time. The Scottish club remains interested in the player's signature, competing with PSV and Lille.

If the Scottish champions manage to persuade Sarpsborg to let go of Ørjasæter, it might affect the position of Luis Palma, the Honduran winger who has been struggling to secure game time this season.
