Olympique Lyon is interested in Werder Bremen's 22-year-old Belgian-Congolese winger, Samuel Mbangula, and a departure for the player appears to be proceeding. Hull City is also an interested club. The Italian press had previously linked him to Atalanta and Bologna. According to Kicker, Atalanta has started negotiations with Werder Bremen over a potential loan deal. Mbangula has 12 caps for Belgium's U21 team, is under contract with the German club until June 2030, and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €8 million.
