It is understood that Everton are among several Premier League clubs, including Aston Villa and Brighton, monitoring Can Uzun, the 20-year-old Turkey international forward from Eintracht Frankfurt who has 10 caps and one goal for his country. Arsenal are also interested and have made initial contact regarding the player. In the past, Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, and Napoli have also shown interest in Uzun. Eintracht Frankfurt are in a strong negotiating position as the player's contract runs until 2029 and are aware of the interest, referring to a €60m release clause, although the player is not currently pushing for a transfer. Uzun joined Frankfurt from Nürnberg in July 2024 for a fee that was reported to be €11 million. His current market value is €45 million, according to Transfermarkt. In September 2026, an offer from Galatasaray that was reported to be €40 million was rejected by Frankfurt.
