Fabrice Hawkins reported that Olympique Lyon have reached a verbal agreement with AC Milan to sign 21-year-old Swiss right-back Zachary Athekame on a loan deal. The arrangement is a straight loan, and Lyon will cover 100% of the player's salary. Athekame, who has 17 caps for the Switzerland U21 team, joined Milan in August 2025 and is under contract until 2030. His current market value is listed by Transfermarkt as €15.00m.
