Olympique Lyonnais has reportedly maintained interest in Panathinaikos' 25-year-old North Macedonian forward Elmin Rastoder since last summer, a period during which Hamburg was also said to have him on their list. The forward has struggled for playing time at the Greek club and is behind Tettey, Levi Garcia, and Dessers in the team's hierarchy. Consequently, a loan move in the upcoming January transfer window is considered a possibility to allow him to get more game time. Rastoder is believed to be already evaluating his options for January. Lyon continues to face significant financial problems. Rastoder joined the Greek club in July 2026 and is under contract until 2030. He has 11 caps for North Macedonia, and his current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €3.50m.
