It is understood that Leeds United also has a long-standing interest in the winger. Barcelona is prepared to let him leave this summer to create space in their squad. The Spanish club is reportedly open to a permanent sale. However, sources have indicated Bardghji's preference is a loan move, which would permit him to get regular first-team football ahead of a potential return. The winger has three caps for Sweden and made 21 appearances in LaLiga during the 2025/2026 season, where he contributed one goal and one assist. Reports from early to mid-2026 cited offers for the player between €45 million and €50 million. Separate reports in May 2026 suggested that a fee of €10 million might be sufficient. Bardghji moved to Barcelona from FC Copenhagen in July 2025 for a fee reported to be around €2.5 million.
