Everton are understood to be one of several Premier League clubs watching Gessime Yassine closely this season, and Brighton, Newcastle United, Sunderland, Brentford, and Nottingham Forest are also monitoring the 20-year-old Moroccan international winger. Due to their connection with Strasbourg through the BlueCo ownership group, Chelsea are in a firm position to shape his future. Yassine is comfortable with the prospect of his future being at Chelsea, which has a long-term plan to bring him to west London. The club is reportedly impressed with his progress, although the timing of a potential move remains uncertain, with 2027 being a possibility. Yassine has 9 caps and one goal for Morocco and joined Strasbourg in January 2026 on a contract until 2030. His current Transfermarkt market value is €20.00m, an increase on the reported €7 million fee Strasbourg paid to sign him from Dunkerque.
