Barcelona has shown concrete interest in Aleksey Batrakov, a 21-year-old Russian attacking midfielder who joined Galatasaray from Lokomotiv Moscow in the summer for 25 million euros. The Spanish club's interest grew after his performances in the Champions League, a competition in which he scored against them. Before Batrakov's move to Turkey, PSG had also attempted to sign him. Additionally, Hansi Flick remarked that he is a great player after his team faced the Russian. Batrakov has 15 caps and 4 goals for Russia, and his contract with Galatasaray is valid until June 2031. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €28.00m.
