As there has been a lack of updates on Maignan's contract renewal, Milan has added two new goalkeepers to its list of potential alternatives, one of whom is Robin Risser, a 21-year-old French goalkeeper from Lens. The France U21 international, who has four caps, joined his current club in July 2025 from Strasbourg for a fee of €3 million and has made 16 appearances in Ligue 1 this season. His contract with Lens runs until 2030, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €10.00m.
