Yassir Zabiri is a 21-year-old Moroccan attacker on loan at Racing Santander from Stade Rennais FC until June 2027. He has a Transfermarkt market value of €20M and has earned 2 caps for Morocco. His former coach, Mimoun Mokhtari, expressed no surprise regarding reports of a potential move to FC Barcelone for the player. Mokhtari stated that he had read the information and felt it was logical, explaining that Zabiri's current performance level in Spain makes him comparable, in certain aspects and statistically, to players such as Kylian Mbappé or Lamine Yamal. Furthermore, Mokhtari expressed his conviction that Zabiri will continue to progress and could eventually join a major European club, mentioning Real Madrid and Manchester City as other possibilities of a similar stature.
