Team Talk reports on Tottenham Hotspur's interest in AC Milan attacker Rafael Leao. Tottenham Hotspur explored a move for AC Milan attacker Rafael Leao in the final 36 hours of the window but was quoted a fee of €100m by AC Milan, which was too high for Tottenham.

Tottenham Hotspur have been presented with the opportunity to acquire Rafael Leao from AC Milan. Nevertheless, Leao is reluctant to depart from the Italian club and is determined to remain at Milan. Moreover, AC Milan's new manager, Massimiliano Allegri, is also against the idea of losing Leao. Intermediaries brought Leao to Tottenham's attention after Son's transfer and Maddison's injury, yet there are no ongoing negotiations. Despite Tottenham's interest, it appears highly improbable that the transfer will materialize, especially with Manchester United also showing interest in Leao. Allegri, who has recently assumed the managerial role at Milan, is adamant that Leao will stay with the club. Leao, a 26-year-old Portuguese international, recorded 12 goals and 13 assists last season, highlighting his ability to enhance Tottenham's attacking options, but he is not interested in a move to the Premier League at this juncture.
