GIVEMESPORT senior correspondent Ben Jacobs has stated that Celtic have made an enquiry for Basel winger Philip Otele, who is expected to leave the Swiss club in January. Basel are reportedly ready to listen to offers worth £6m or more for the 26-year-old Nigerian. The player is said to be keen on joining Celtic, but they face competition from clubs including Wolverhampton Wanderers, Bournemouth, Birmingham, and Lazio.
