Turkish club Beşiktaş expressed interest in Dynamo's 27-year-old Ukrainian central midfielder Mykola Shaparenko. The president of the Turkish club contacted Igor Surkis after the European Championship, and Dynamo proposed a starting fee of 12 million euros. However, the transfer was not completed as the footballer himself decisively refused to move to Turkey. Shaparenko, who joined Dynamo Kyiv in January 2018, has a contract that runs until September 2026. His current market value is €11.00m, according to Transfermarkt. Spanish club Girona has also been recently linked with the player.
