Serie A club Roma has initiated a move to sign Gabriel Sara from Galatasaray. Newcastle and Everton are interested in the 27-year-old Brazilian midfielder. It is said that both English clubs are prepared to pay €30 million for his transfer. Sara, who has one cap for Brazil, joined Galatasaray in August 2024 for a fee that was reported to be €18 million and has a contract until June 2029. His current Transfermarkt market value is €27 million. In September 2026, it was also reported that Galatasaray's asking price was €30 million and that the club had rejected offers of €20 million.
