Lassine Sinayoko, a 26-year-old Malian centre-forward, has been monitored in recent months by Ipswich, who were promoted to the Premier League, and by Lens, Lille, and Saint-Étienne. A conflict has emerged at his current club, Auxerre, after they rejected an €8 million offer, including bonuses, from Paris FC. This rejection happened despite a written promise made to the player that he would be allowed to leave for an offer of that amount. That promise was based on a previous bid from Lens. Auxerre now believes the attacker's value has increased. In response to the situation, Sinayoko has refused to train. The Mali international has 30 caps and 10 goals for his country, has a contract with Auxerre until June 2027 and a current Transfermarkt market value of €10.00m.
