It is understood that Brighton & Hove Albion are monitoring Eintracht Frankfurt's 20-year-old forward, Can Uzun, as part of a group of interested Premier League clubs. Arsenal are reportedly ahead of other interested clubs, while Aston Villa and Everton are also monitoring the Turkey international. Uzun has 10 caps and 1 goal for his country. In the past, Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, and Napoli have also shown interest in the player. Arsenal have contacted Uzun's agency, 11WINS, and some initial contacts have been made. Eintracht Frankfurt are aware of the interest and are expected to refer to his €60m release clause. Uzun's contract with the German club runs until 2029, and the player is not currently pushing for a move. Uzun joined Frankfurt from Nürnberg in July 2024 for a fee that was reported to be €11 million. His current market value is €45.00m, according to Transfermarkt. It was reported that in September 2026, Galatasaray had a €40 million offer rejected. It was also reported that Frankfurt's asking price throughout summer 2026 was between €45 million and €60 million.
