Belgian club Kortrijk have contacted St Mirren regarding the 24-year-old Irish-American midfielder Killian Phillips but have not yet made a formal offer. St Mirren anticipate further interest in the player, who has one year remaining on his contract, before the transfer window closes. Phillips has also received interest from a German club and several American teams, which include New England Revolution, San Jose Earthquakes, and LA Galaxy. Previously, Aberdeen had paused talks for the player after being willing to pay a fee of approximately £500,000, an amount St Mirren deemed too low.
