Kévin Boma Transfer from Estoril to Widzew Lodz

Widzew Lodz aimed to invest during the January transfer window because of a precarious position in the Ekstraklasa and targeted Kévin Boma. The Polish club reportedly planned to offer up to €2 million for the 23-year-old centre-back, who holds both Togolese and French nationality. Although Estoril's administration was open to negotiating a sale to secure at least one transfer out, the offer was considered insufficient. The coach considers Boma a priority, and the club had established a minimum asking price of €5 million. The transfer was not completed, and Widzew's sporting director, Dariusz Adamczuk, stated that the player would not be joining the club. It was also indicated that Boma was more inclined towards markets that were more attractive from a sporting perspective. Boma joined Estoril in July 2024 and his contract is valid until June 2028. The defender has 10 caps for Togo and a current Transfermarkt market value of €4.00m. In the 2025/2026 Liga Portugal season, he has made 16 appearances and scored 1 goal.
