According to Piotr Koźmiński from goal.pl, the probable reason a transfer to Widzew Łódź for Arkadiusz Milik did not happen is that returning to Poland is not a priority for the player at this moment.

At the beginning of September, Widzew Łódź considered acquiring Arkadiusz Milik, but the transfer did not take place.

Widzew Łódź inquired about a potential transfer for Arkadiusz Milik after the 32-year-old was excluded from Juventus's squads for Serie A and the Europa League. The player had previously stated that a return to the Ekstraklasa was not of interest to him, and there are currently no concrete or interesting offers for the forward. Milik's contract with Juventus expires in June 2027, and reports from March 2026 indicated the club was seeking approximately €5 million for him.
