Widzew Łódź was interested in Camilo Mena and entered into talks, but did not sign him. Łukasz Masłowski explained that Paolo Urfer's expectations were very high and not adequate for Camilo Mena's potential and current situation. Masłowski stated that Urfer lowered his expectations only at the end of the transfer window, but by then Widzew Łódź had already filled the relevant positions and had no space on their squad list. There was significant pressure from Camilo to change clubs.

On Tuesday, Piotr Koźmiński provided more details on reports concerning Camilo Mena, stating that Widzew Łódź wants the player. Koźmiński added that it was being said unofficially that Lechia would like 4 million euros for Mena.

Widzew Łódź would like to acquire both Tomáš Bobček and Camilo Mena. The prospect of Mena continuing his career at Lechia Gdańsk is described as practically unrealistic. Widzew is conducting talks regarding the entire trio from Lechia. Lechia placed a very high valuation on the trio.

Piotr Wołosik reported in the podcast 'Ofensywni' that one of the main transfer targets for Widzew Łódź is Lechia Gdańsk's Camilo Mena. Wołosik stated that talks are ongoing about the transfer of Camilo Mena and that Widzew Łódź has a strong interest in acquiring these offensive players.
