Ioan Vermeșan has moved to Widzew Łódź on loan from Hellas Verona, with the transfer completed just before the summer transfer window in Poland closed. The loan deal includes an option to purchase the player for 1.2 million euro.

Ioan Vermeșan has been loaned to Widzew Łódź until the end of the 2026/27 season. After signing the contract, Ioan Vermeșan stated that he is very happy to have joined Widzew Łódź and that he hopes this is an important step in his career, allowing him to continue growing. He also said that he is looking forward to meeting the fans at the stadium for the first time.

Widzew Łódź is nearing the finalization of a transfer for 19-year-old striker Ioan Vermeșan late in the summer transfer window. The Romanian youth international is expected to join on loan from Hellas Verona in a deal that includes a purchase option. The transfer is dependent on a medical examination scheduled for Wednesday, and the move will be completed if it is successful. Vermeșan had previously moved to the Italian club from Ripensia Timisoara in October 2022.
