Celtic face competition from Cagliari for the signing of Justin Devenny. The 22-year-old midfielder is available for approximately €7m and was not included in Pierre Sage’s first two matchday squads of the new Premier League season. It is understood that Devenny could leave Selhurst Park before the summer window closes. Devenny has one year remaining on his current Crystal Palace contract.

Cagliari has shown interest in Justin Devenny, a 22-year-old Northern Irish midfielder from Crystal Palace who is contracted until June 30, 2027. Discussions are currently at an early stage. Two potential transfer structures are being considered: a permanent deal would likely involve a future resale percentage for Crystal Palace, while a loan move would be conditional on the player extending his contract with the London club. Negotiations have not yet intensified, but it is possible they could do so shortly. Devenny, who joined Palace in July 2024, has 14 caps and one goal for Northern Ireland. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €12.00m. Several English clubs, including Southampton and Leicester City, have also been linked with the player.
