Newcastle United and Brighton are among a group of Premier League clubs monitoring Juan Manuel Rengifo, a 21-year-old Atletico Nacional attacking midfielder. Bournemouth, Brentford, and Crystal Palace are also monitoring his progress. According to sources, scouts from both Newcastle and Brighton have been impressed by Rengifo's performances this season, during which he has registered six goals and five assists in 18 appearances. Rengifo is viewed as a player capable of securing a move abroad within the next 12 months, a belief which is strengthened by his recent debut for the senior Colombia national team. This has prompted several clubs to prepare for what could become a more competitive effort to sign him. Having joined Atletico Nacional in July 2025, his contract runs until the end of 2028, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €5.00m.
