Hibernian have rejected a £1.9million offer from German side Schalke for 23-year-old Scottish midfielder Josh Mulligan. Following a season, Mulligan has also received enquiries from Celtic and Leeds United. However, Hibernian do not wish to sell him during the current transfer window, and the player is currently recovering from damaged ankle ligaments. Mulligan, who has been capped 14 times for Scotland's U21s, scoring one goal, joined Hibernian in July 2025 and is under contract until May 2029. His current Transfermarkt valuation is €1.20m.
