RB Leipzig is interested in 17-year-old German and Moroccan attacking midfielder Wael Mohya, who is under contract at Borussia Mönchengladbach until 2028. According to Sky, other Bundesliga clubs such as Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, and FC Bayern are also interested in the German U21 international, in addition to top clubs from abroad. Gladbach is working intensively on a contract extension and is hopeful of a renewal, partly because Rouven Schröder has a very good connection with Mohya. However, an extension is considered realistic only if it includes an exit clause. Sky reports that a transfer in the winter is not being considered, but a move in the summer is considered possible. His current Transfermarkt market value is €17.00m.
