German media are writing about the possibility of Julian Draxler returning to Schalke, but not to the first team. According to these reports, Draxler could instead play for Schalke's second team, which competes in the Regionalliga West, the fourth tier of German football. Draxler has previously spoken about his strong connection to Schalke and has not ruled out a return. In May, he said he did not know if he would wear the club's shirt again and that no one from Schalke had contacted him up to that point.

Julian Draxler does not rule out returning to play for FC Schalke but is aware of the difficulties. Draxler stated that no one has asked him so far. He mentioned he is no longer 22 and would first have to prove that he can still play at such a level.

In an interview with Sport Bild, Julian Draxler stated that if sporting director Frank Baumann asked him to come back to Schalke one day to support him, he probably would not say no.

Julian Draxler, the 31-year-old German attacker, talked about the possibility of returning to Schalke 04 during an interview with 'Bild'. He revealed that he had considered this option before his move to Qatar, though he had not been in direct contact with Schalke 04. Draxler, who signed a three-year contract in Qatar, expressed doubts about his ability to contribute to Schalke when he turns 35. Despite his impressive performance at Al Ahli, where he scored twelve goals and provided nine assists in 18 league games, Draxler remains unsure about rejoining his former club. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €3.80 million.
