Jack Thomson has joined Swindon Town from Kilmarnock on a permanent basis, signing a two-year deal and becoming the club's ninth summer signing. Manager Ian Holloway had been looking to find a replacement for Gavin Kilkenny and add more depth and experience to his squad. Thomson explained that after speaking with the manager and other players with experience in England, he felt it was the right move for his career, adding that the higher volume of games was a significant attraction for his development. Swindon Town is now waiting for international clearance to see if Thomson can feature in the upcoming match against Oldham Athletic. The 26-year-old Scottish central midfielder joined Kilmarnock in July 2025, where his contract was due to expire in 2027. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €200k.
