Preston North End manager Paul Heckingbottom expects Harrison Armstrong to return to the club after he was recalled by Everton from his loan spell at Preston. Heckingbottom stated that at present, they are all expecting him to come back. The manager added that the plan was for Armstrong to get good experience and a lot of game time. He also said that the player has not harmed his prospects by playing there and that he is watching him play and how well he is performing. Heckingbottom also stated that they are aware that unless David is going to be using him, Armstrong will probably get all his game time with Preston.

David Moyes has admitted he would like Harrison Armstrong to return on loan to Preston North End by the end of the month. Moyes said that while there is an opportunity for the player if he comes back and does well, he would like him to go back to Preston. Moyes also stated that if circumstances allow, he will certainly send Armstrong back because he thinks it is really good for his development and education at present.
