According to Globo.com, Gustavo Nunes, who was developed by Grêmio, has joined Swansea City on loan until the end of the season. The club announced the signing of the Brazilian on social media, and he is expected to make his debut this Saturday at 12 p.m. (Brasília time) against Hull City.

Gustavo Nunes had previously signed a six-year contract at Brentford at the age of eighteen in 2024 from Grêmio. At the start of this season, Nunes suffered a bad hamstring injury which sidelined him for the first sixteen games of the season. He was subsequently on the first team bench and also rehabilitated with the U21 (B) side. The loan signing is described as an exciting investment for Swansea City.
