Gustavo Nunes Transfer from Brentford to Swansea City

Swansea City confirmed they have signed Gustavo Nunes on loan until the end of June 2026, subject to relevant approval. Swansea City head coach Vitor Matos said they are very happy to have added Gustavo to their squad. Adam Worth, global head of analytics and recruitment, stated they are really pleased to bring Gustavo Nunes to the club.

Swansea City have signed Brentford's 20-year-old Brazilian winger Gustavo Nunes on loan for the remainder of the season. Nunes had joined the Premier League club from Gremio in August 2024 in a deal worth over £10m. The move comes after Swansea had been searching for a winger throughout the January transfer window, having previously shown interest in Crystal Palace's Jesurun Rak-Sakyi. Swansea head coach Vitor Matos described Nunes as a creative player who is effective in one-on-one situations and capable of playing on either flank. Nunes, who has been capped by Brazil at U20 level, is under contract with Brentford until June 2030 and has a current market value of €10.00m, according to Transfermarkt. Earlier in January, Corinthians were reportedly interested in the player, but Brentford considered his cost to be high.
