Since arriving on loan, Jenson Seelt has played a total of 12 minutes of first-team football for the Swans. He has not yet been provided with a sufficient opportunity to demonstrate his abilities.

Swansea City have signed Sunderland centre-back Jenson Seelt on a season-long loan, and the Dutchman is in south Wales to complete the formalities of the move. Head coach Vitor Matos said that Jenson is a talented young player who will provide the team with valuable depth in their defensive options. Matos added that Seelt brings physicality and aerial dominance, but also composure on the ball and an ability to read the game. The head coach also said they are happy he will spend the rest of the season with them and they look forward to integrating him into the squad. Sporting director Ben Stevens said Jenson is an exciting prospect who has already played in the Championship, Eredivisie, Bundesliga and Premier League. Stevens added that Seelt is a centre-back whose ability on the ball and physical presence fits their team’s requirements, and they look forward to him playing for Swansea.

Sunderland officially announced on Thursday that Jenson Seelt has signed a new contract that runs until mid-2030. The Dutch Centre-Back is being loaned to Swansea City, a club from Wales that competes in the Championship. According to the club website, Sunderland's Director of Football stated that the decision to extend the contract before the loan demonstrates the club's confidence in the player.
