Turkish club Beşiktaş had an offer of six million euros in fixed payments plus bonuses for Santos's 25-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper Gabriel Brazão rejected. Santos is seeking 15 million euros to negotiate for the player, of whom the Brazilian club owns 60% of the economic rights, with Inter de Milão holding the rest. Brazão has also received inquiries from other European clubs in recent weeks, and Flamengo had previously entered negotiations for him before being deterred by Santos's asking price. The initial report of Beşiktaş's interest came from TNT and was later confirmed by ESPN. Brazão joined Santos in February 2024, and his contract is valid until the end of 2028. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €11.00m. He is uncapped by Brazil and has made six domestic league appearances for Santos this season.
