According to Spanish publication SPORT, Inter Milan will face competition from Tottenham Hotspur, Villarreal, Porto, Sporting CP, Benfica, Juventus, River Plate, and Rennes to sign Franco Mastantuono.

Franco Mastantuono's name was mentioned during a meeting in Madrid between the leadership of Inter Milan and Real Madrid. According to Mundo Deportivo, the names of Rodrygo, Endrick, and Franco Mastantuono were brought up after discussions about another player became complicated. Mastantuono joined Real Madrid in August 2025 and has a contract with the club until 2031.
