Fikayo Tomori, 28, is considered to be performing at his highest level with AC Milan. Tomori's contract expires next summer, and he is likely to be available for a relatively low price. The Canadian-born player’s ETV is €14.8m, and it is suggested that a price higher than this figure would be justified for Chelsea based on the player’s current ability and the saving they would make in comparison to Lacroix.

Milan could include Fikayo Tomori as part of a swap deal bid to reduce the cost of Joao Felix's transfer. However, Chelsea are unlikely to be interested in re-signing Tomori.

Fikayo Tomori could swap places with Joao Felix. As Tomori is not as valuable as Leao, he would likely move in a straight swap rather than a player-plus-cash deal. Chelsea already know Tomori’s capabilities well, as he came through their academy.

Chelsea have reportedly been presented with the opportunity to re-sign centre-back Fikayo Tomori from AC Milan. This development follows Tomori's loss of his starting position under former manager Paulo Fonseca, who limited him to just 13 minutes of play across his last ten Serie A matches in charge. A surprising return to Chelsea has been suggested, but it is believed that Chelsea are not particularly interested and would consider a move for Tomori only if Axel Disasi leaves the club. Disasi is currently under significant pressure due to a series of disappointing performances and has been associated with a potential transfer to Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen, with Juventus also mentioned as possible contenders for the Frenchman's signature. In the meantime, Juventus have shown strong interest in acquiring Tomori, introducing a competitive element to the transfer situation.
