Festy Ebosele Transfer from İstanbul Başakşehir to Wrexham
According to David Sneyd via X, Wrexham are set to sign Festy Ebosele on loan from Istanbul Basaksehir, ahead of competition from West Bromwich Albion. There are now only hours left for Championship clubs to finalise their transfer dealings. In the final stages of the current window, Phil Parkinson's side are leading West Brom in the effort to loan the player, who has made 25 appearances since signing a three-and-a-half year deal 12 months ago.
Interest is growing in Ireland international right-back Festy Ebosele, who currently plays for Istanbul Basaksehir. It is believed that Wrexham are working on a loan move for the 23-year-old. West Bromwich Albion are also reportedly interested. Ebosele has previous experience in the Championship with Derby County. He has 13 caps for Ireland, joined the Turkish club in January 2025, and is under contract until June 2028. He has made 13 appearances in the Süper Lig during the 2025/2026 season. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €4.50m.
