Bild reports that several clubs from Turkey made informal inquiries in the summer about Atakan Karazor, a former captain of Stuttgart. Trabzonspor was among the clubs that asked VfB about the player, but Karazor declined.

According to Fanatik, Trabzonspor is investigating the requirements for signing Atakan Karazor, who is one of Stuttgart's captains. The Bundesliga club has a transfer fee expectation of around €8-10 million for the player. Karazor has been with Stuttgart since 2019 and will compete in the Champions League this season. It is known that the player is not eager to leave Germany, but Trabzonspor's management is monitoring his situation and could proceed with the transfer if the requirements are met.

It is reported by Sabah that Atakan Karazor is among the strongest candidates for the defensive midfield role at Trabzonspor, and that negotiations have begun with the German club and the national player's agent.

There has been an exchange between Turkish top club Trabzonspor and 29-year-old defensive midfielder Atakan Karazor, who holds both Turkish and German nationality, regarding a potential move. While a transfer would be difficult, it is not impossible. A fee would be required for any transfer, as Karazor's contract with VfB Stuttgart runs until 2028. The two-cap Türkiye international has a current market value of €8.00m, according to Transfermarkt. This information from Turkey contradicts a recent report from 'Bild', which claimed the player wants to compete for his place in Stuttgart.
